Mazraoui is the only current player in the squad that I can see having the aggression, vision, decision making skills, discipline, tactical understanding and intelligence needed to play as a wingback in the current squad. Amass has the potential to be developed into a wingback but hes not ready and won't be this season. I would keep Dalot who eorks hard, plays for the shirt and is a useful and potentially verstile player who could fill in a variety of if different roles and be a valuable squad member, but I dont think he'll be abke to tie down a first team spot in any position unless Amorim can further his development over the next ccouple of seasons. Even if Shaw miraculously stays fit and injury free he doesn't have the necessary discipline or focus to get back into defensive positions following a turnover when he's high up the pitch. If he could keep fit hed make a decent LCB back up for Martinez but if Im being honest I think he needs to be sold, hes just not dependable enough to block the route of an Amass.
I Cant see the somewhat temperamental Garnacho, who models himself on CR7 being able or happy to play as a wingback and I think Anthonys career at United is pretty much over. Malacia, well we just don't know but I would expect him to be sold in the Summer to free up much needed funds to help bring in players that better fit Amorim's systems.

I have severe doubts about Rashford's willingness to play with the required discipline or put in the work necessary to play a high press for 90 minutes…Amad, Bruno, Zikzee and Mount can all play in the two no 10 positions but Amad is the stand out in terms of his all round game. I would be shocked if Amorim doesn't make him a starter.
The Ugarte, Casemiro midfield duo has worked really well in recent weeks and with his goal threat, passing range, vision, chance creation, physicality and ball retention/recovery/tackling ability I eould keep him until at least the send of the season….with our strikers and Rashford not scoring we just cant afford to lose his G/A contributions if we want to maintain a challenge for a place in the top four.
The biggest problem by far is having an entitled player like Rashford hanging around the place like a bad smell. How is it the main media do not want to see the truth about this terrible player – Some of his attributes are as follows – Can't head , can't dribble, can't pass, won't track back, runs into dead ends and into the boards etc etc And yet ETH was always starting him over Amad who had all of these attributes and more. Ineos should do the decent thing and not let Rashford become a problem for Amorim and sell him in January or demote hoim to playing for the under 11's where his standard belongs. If we can get a bar of snickers for him then happy days.
I feel like Yoro will drop back & MdL will play LCB, he’s a really strong carrier of the ball, proven. Yoro has a lot of time to develop so I would think at least in this season Amorim will utilize his defensive capabilities first. Antony might be used as winger/ wingback since his defensive ability & aggression can fit quite nicely as well. I feel like Dalot & Mazraoui will still be first choice but good for rotation.
Dalot will be the best in the world in his position under Rúben Amorim. They should really try hard to get Alphonso Davies for left wing back next season.

Shaw, Rashford, and Antony will definitely not be around next season under Amorim. We can get £50m for Rashford, £15m for Shaw, and £25m for Antony. Maguire will also be gone as well as Lindelof. Mazaroui not thriving in Amorim's system is just plain ridiculous!

I think Mount and Maguire might actually have a resurgence as both play their best football in this shape. Overall i think the back 3 might help United against their Achilles heel of late balls into the box.
